Evolved 2025 is a global hackathon initiative to accelerate AI breakthroughs in healthcare and life sciences. The 10-day Global Sprint is open to any startups working under one of three broad Challenges, and successful applicants are provided full access to NVIDIA H100s from Nebius as well as state-of-the-art models from NVIDIA. Winning teams will be invited to NVIDIA headquarters to showcase their work. Prior to the sprint, regional hackathons will provide short term access to the Nebius platform and available models, to launch new projects and teams.

CHALLENGES
AI systems that act in collaboration with scientists, engineers, or clinicians to accelerate existing workflows across research, development, and operations.
Methods to improve representation and inference in intricate biological systems or clinical challenges, with multi-modal or biologically-informed architectures, or novel applications of foundation models.
Molecular Optimization and Genomic Modeling
Methods for modeling genomic sequences and molecular structures for drug development and target or biomarker identification, working with data at the genomic, transcriptomic, or protein level.

Binder Design Challenge
Applicants to Challenge 3 may opt to join the binder design sub-challenge. Develop a binder that is cross-reactive for a human receptor and a mouse receptor in the same family. Target receptors will be announced at the start of the sprint, on November 7th. Submitted binders will be screened by Adaptyv Bio, and the top three designs will receive Adaptyv Bio lab credits!

GLOBAL SPRINT
November 7 - November 16, 2025
A 10-day virtual sprint hackathon to accelerate highly promising projects, judged by industry leaders and Evolved 2025 partners. Participants will be given full access to 8 GPUs per team, tuning access to all models in the NVIDIA BioNeMo framework, credits for the Nebius AI Studio, and inference-only access to an array of state-of-the-art models from NVIDIA NIMs.
The Global Sprint is open to existing startups and teams with projects within any of the three challenge areas.
Winning teams will be invited to showcase their work at NVIDIA headquarters on December 10th.
REGIONAL HACKATHONS
October 2025
Open to engineers, researchers, scientists, and students eager to tackle pressing AIxBio challenges with cutting edge tools, in-person hackathons will provide 24 hours of access to GPUs and pre-trained models via the Nebius cloud computing platform for rapid iteration on a new project.
For technical applicants, prior experience building and training AI models is recommended. Scientist applicants should have deep knowledge in the scientific application space of interest. Applicants are not required to apply with a pre-existing team or project.
